You need an excellent academic background & genuine expertise in Ab Initio development including designing multi-project Ab-Initio architectures. Ideally you will have experience of the following: Unix/Solaris, Oracle, RAD/Iterative development, Datawarehouse/data mart design, v2.14, other ETL products. You must have commercial experience in developing Datawarehouse, Business Intelligence or management information solutions. 

You will be experienced in Business Objects XI, Dashboard Manager, Performance Manager and Crystal Enterprise. Working on Oracle, SQL Server databases, PL/SQL knowledge would be advantageous. You will be involved in designing developing Datamarts, Datawarehouses, Dashboards, universe creation, reporting and will be involved in setting up best practices for design and development of BI solutions. 

You will be expected to work with business and IT executives under there directions. As a Java Software Engineer you will undertake software activities on a range of full lifecycle projects. This will include requirements analysis, software design, development, implementation and testing. All activities must be delivered on time and to specification. Required Skills: Solid understanding of Java programming and a knowledge of UML. Additional technical requirements and experience will ideally include; RDBSM (SQL), Web/Internet technologies (XML, XSL, JavaScript, XHTML), Web Services, Distributed Systems, PC Networking, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. Experience of team leading / people management is desirable. 

You should have solid experience in the end to end testing, required to work in a team developing a wide range of solutions. In this role you will be responsible for directing, controlling and delivering System Testing phases of projects and provide a cost effective measurement of the quality of the products of those projects, confirming that they meet the requirements as per specification and design and are fit for purpose. You will carry out detailed testing preparation by creating detailed test cases. Must have experience of Systems Testing, Integrated/End to End Testing, Test Planning and have used Test Management Tools such as Test Director. You will also have experience of testing Front End Applications and Middleware Systems. Experience of SQL and Unix is desirable. Ideally you will be ISEB qualified to support your skills and experience.
